The Signs of a Haunting

Do you think your house is haunted?

How do you know for certain? The first step is to determine whether or not you truly have a legitimate haunting.

Here are some phenomena that may occur if your home is haunted:

Unexplained noises. You may experience knocks, rapping, banging, footsteps, scratching sounds.

Feelings of being watched. This feeling can occur in a particular are of the house at a particular time and if it occurs repeatedly, you could be sensing an entity.

Things turning on and off. Often, lights, the television, radio or other electrical powered objects can mysteriously be switched on or off. Especially if you are positive they were not left that way.

Items disappearing and reappearing. You may place your keys in the same place but suddenly they are missing. You search everywhere but they are nowhere to be found. Later, you find the keys, in the exact same spot where you normally put them.

Doors, cabinets and cupboards opening and closing. Most of the time, these phenomena are not seen directly but are heard. Or you may return to a room and find the door is open and closed. Sometimes furniture, like kitchen chairs, are perceived to have been moved. Very rarely would you actually witness the phenomenon taking place.

Strange animal behaviour. Your cat, dog or other pet behaves strangely.Dogs may bark at something and cats may watch something unseen. Animals have sharper senses than people.
Unexplained shadows. The sighting of fleeting shapes and shadows, usually seen out of the corner of the eye.
